The Lincoln Star, Friday, May 4, 1934: headline: ROKEBY HIGH BANQUET Rokeby high school held its annual junior-senior banquet in the Cornhusker hotel Thursday evening. Twenty-six attended the affair. Orville Reddish was toastmaster and gave a short welcoming speech. Responses were made by Elizabeth Locs, Ellis Smith, Ross Wescott, Lee Damrow, and Fern Miller. G.E. Turner, superintendent of the Rokeby schools, gave the final speech. Miss Phyllis Burgess, accompanied by Miss Naomi Alfred, played a violin solo.
