Lincoln Daily News, Friday, October 9, 1914: Maria Grimm, wife of Henry Grimm, died suddenly at her home near the state asylum about 9 am Friday. She was the mother of William D. Grimm, who met a tragic death at the Cushman Motor works last month. She was seventy-one years old. Her death was caused by heart trouble. She arose in the morning apparently in good health. Shortly after breakfast she was suddenly taken with an attack and died within a few minutes. Funeral arrangements have not yet been made. Lincoln Sunday Star, Sunday morning, October 11, 1914: The funeral of Mrs. Henry Grimm, who died suddenly Friday morning, will be held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Wesley chapel at Rokeby. A short service will be held at their home near Yankee Hill, at 12 o'clock this noon. Internment will be in the church cemetery at Rokeby.
